Sweetness abounds in this washed Starmaya from Soconusco, part of the famed ‘Ruta de Cafe,’ one of Mexico’s agricultural epicentres with over 100 years of history in production.

Starmaya is a significant variety in the world of coffee research and a major milestone in protecting the future of coffee. Combining the resilience of Marsellesa and the flavour profile of Ethiopian Heirloom varieties, it is the only first-generation (F1) hybrid in the world propagated by seed, rather than through costly biotechnology.
