Mouth coating, rich and long lasting as espresso but where this coffee shines is when complimented with milk.

As a Catimor, this lot is a hybrid variety from Thailand and yet another of it’s kind we’ve showcased in our single origin program in the last year including Parainemas from Honduras, Tabis from Colombia and F1 Centroamericanos from Costa Rica. We love these fusions of coffee varieties that are the result of combining flavour driven traditional varieties with others more known for their productivity and resilience.

Coffee production is no easy task. Especially in the current economic and environmental climate and as a result, producers face immeasurable challenges to produce specialty quality at volume. These hybrids provide a win win scenario for producers and consumers and we’re proud to continuously showcase these as part of the sustainable future of coffee production.

Our first ever purchase and single origin release from Thailand

We were first introduced to producer MK when completing our Q Grading course earlier this year. The course itself exists primarily to provide a common language and connection with producers and buyers and this is certainly what resulted. MK not only has his own farm but also works with a range of local communities and small holders.

He chose to undertake the rigorous Q Grading program as a means to improve his ability to directly and immediately improve the profile of Thai specialty coffee.

We are excited to be part of this vision.
