Our Favourite Espresso Martini Recipe
What better way to kick back this holiday season than with a sophisticated, rich, smooth and most importantly, frothy Espresso Martini?
We’ve tried and tested this recipe, and it’s officially our favourite. We’ve unanimously agreed that making it with a freshly brewed shot (x2 for the hot heads) of Campos Superior Blend is the best way to enhance the aromas and flavours that compliment the smoothness of the vodka and sweetness of the coffee liqueur. With its mild acidity and full body, the espresso provides ample balance and a creamy texture to boot.
Ingredients:
- 45ml Vodka
- 30ml Coffee Liquor
- 30ml of espresso – we recommend using Superior Blend (How to brew: Espresso at Home)
- 15-30ml Simple Syrup (depending on how sweet your tooth is)
- 3 Superior Blend Coffee Beans (for decoration on top)
Method:
1. Chill a martini glass with ice and set aside.
2. Brew an espresso using Campos Superior Blend.
3. Combine all ingredients (excluding the decorative beans) in a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake well. The goal is to make the liquid inside the shaker chilled and frothy!
4. Double strain the mixture into your pre chilled martini glass and garnish with Campos coffee beans.
